...I am reading Thomas Merton's 'Conjectures of a Guilty Bystander' now and it is quite astonishing how this trapist monk wrote during sixties about things that seem to have matured during the period leading up to present days .... his observations in regards to american society, propaganda, pseudo-christianity and so on .... are brilliant ....
... his constant search for authenticity is inspiring me ....
