The Layers

... the "Blueprint" work is actually mainly yellow in colour ...... I would like to think that it is more of a 'conceptual' work - using the small printed reproduction of the thirteenth century sketch as a starting point ..... in making it I wanted to somehow touch it for myself and from my own perspective and by own handling of the materials that I used ..... there are of course no buildings built in thirteen century here in Australia ..... and what ALL that fact means is a topic for perhaps quite lengthy meditations .... for erecting structures can be seen from both positive and negative side ...... there is no need for judgment though ..... just the thought is enough for me ....
